Install a theme from the Theme Store

Halfspeed themes sell on the Shopify Theme Store. You can try a theme in your own store for free, with your own products, before you buy it. You only pay when you want to publish it.

1. Try the theme

1. Open the theme’s page on the Shopify Theme Store while you are signed in to your store.
2. Pick a style. Each style is a preset with its own colours, type and home page. You can change all of it later.
3. Click Try theme.

The theme is added to your store as a draft. It doesn’t change your live store.

2. Customize it

1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store.
2. Find the theme under Draft themes. It carries a trial label.
3. Click Customize to open the theme editor. Your products, collections and pages show up straight away.

Changes you make during the trial are kept when you buy the theme.

3. Buy and publish

1. When you’re ready, click Buy on the theme in Draft themes and approve the charge. It is a one-time payment for one store.
2. Click Publish. The theme replaces your current live theme. Your old theme stays in Draft themes, so you can switch back.
